Join us for an evening or afternoon of printing, where you will get to print your own designs on to either a t-shirt, or strong tote bag, that you can take away and use all summer and beyond.
We will take you through the creative process to take your design idea from you head, on to your choosen garment.
You will get to print a two colour design, which will be created by cutting out a stencils with paper. You will then mix the ink to make the colours you think will work best with your design. The designs will then be printed by you, one layer at a time. There will be a bit of washing out of screens after each print, which is fun too… and not super messy.
We recommend doing a pattern layer first, and then object/subject layer over the top. This combination works well with paper cut-outs, as you can be quite bold with your design and it also leaves room for imperfections… or 'character' as we can call it :). You will end up with a unique bag, that will be the wonder of all your friends.
You will be printing on either a white or grey Gildan, cotton t-shirt (main sizes available), or a strong, good sized tote bag, which will last a long time. The bag is big enough to carry a good shop, or enough accoutrements for a nice day at the beach. The t-shirts are of a good enough quality to be worn and washed a good number of times.
The session will be relaxed, fun and accompanied with music. If you wish to bring your own drinks, you're more than welcome to… but maybe we won't open them until after the cutting tools have gone away.
Bags will be dry enough to take away, but we would recommend giving them an iron when you get home. We will give instructions.
