Join us for a one day introduction to screenprinting. This class is set-up to give you a good introduction to screenprinting, taking you through the process of printing a two colour design on to A2 sized paper.
You will get a tour of the studio and all the equipment you will use, an introduction to what screenprinting is and how it gets used. You will then work on the process of making your own two colour design as a print.
At the end of the day you will have a print edition of your own artwork to take away with you, and an understanding of the steps involved to take a design from concept to screenprinted artwork.
This is a hands on day where you get to set-up the equipment and do the printing yourself. The only thing you might miss out on is some of the cleaning up.
The course is for four people, so there will be plenty of time for discussion and practical work.
This class is designed to be a relaxed, fun day where you get to try out lots of the techniques which go into producing a screenprint. We will drink tea and/or coffee.

There will be a lunch break mid-day, where you can grab a bite from one of the many food delights on East Street or North Street.
